Family Fun: LEGOLAND Windsor
LEGOLAND Windsor is perfect for kids aged 2-12 and a great family day out. With over 55 interactive rides and attractions you are set for a real treat. Fly through the treetops to escape fearsome dragons, ride the thrilling rapids with a Viking Fleet, join LEGO divers on a magical underwater adventure on Atlantis Submarine Voyage or enjoy the UK’s only LEGO Star Wars Mini-land Model Display.
Walking: The Chiltern Hills
High Wycombe is set in the centre of the Chiltern Hills Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). From the ‘Time Out Country Walks near London’ book you can choose to complete the whole ‘Marlow Circular’ of a short or medium length version. The guide gives some historical background as well as spots of natural interest.

Henley-on-Thames is just a 30 minute journey from the Hotel. Famed for its yearly Regatta its one not to miss. The historic town of Marlow is great for the family and has many beautiful riverside restaurants and shops

Thorpe Park is an incredible theme park which pulls adrenaline junkies in from all over the world to experience its plethora of exciting roller coasters and other thrill rides. There’s so much in store for visitors at Thorpe Park and, at just 30 mins drive away from the Buckingham Hotel, there’s no better way to spend the day (or night) this year!
National Trust: Cliveden
Set high above the Thames with far-reaching views, Cliveden’s impressive gardens and majestic woodlands capture the grandeur of a bygone age. Follow in the footsteps of dukes, earls and royalty as you explore a series of gardens, each with their own special charm. From the formality of the Parterre with its vibrant floral displays to the quirky statuary and topiary in the Long Garden, the gardens will delight you in every season. The formal gardens give way to secluded glades, tree-lined avenues and picturesque riverside with miles of woodland walks to discover.
Gardens: The Savill Garden
The Savill Garden is a mile from Englefield Green and 4 miles from Windsor Castle. It is open all the year round, except Christmas Day. Part of the Royal Landscape, the Savill Garden is one of Britain’s greatest ornamental gardens, enjoyed by horticulturist and enthusiasts alike. Set in 35 acres, the garden mix native and exotic species and has bred many important garden hybrids.
Explore: Windsor Castle
With games, trails and many family activities, Windsor Castle is a great day out. Being the largest and oldest inhabited castle anywhere in the World and an official residence of her Majesty the Queen, this working Royal palace is a real gem in our history and certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.
